While the 2024 Lexus NX carries a large portion of the 2023 model into the next year, new interior color offerings, color-keyed elements, Lexus Interface upgrades, and hybrid electric updates are new for the 2024 model year. Under the “Lexus Electrified” vision, the NX line continues to provide an impressive range of powertrain options with elevated levels of driving performance, design and advanced technology.

Inside the NX is the Lexus Interface Multimedia system that allows the N to effortlessly integrate your every adventure. The standard 9.8-inch, optically bonded touchscreen is an eye-catching addition, while allowing you to interact through sight, touch and voice. The optional 14-inch screen includes a three-year trial for Drive Connect services.

Intelligent Assistant offers convenience through dual microphones, enhanced noise cancellation and seat detection. The Digital Key, available through Remote Connect, allows you to use your smartphone as a vehicle key – even for guests. With Drive Connect, Cloud Navigation allows your NX to integrate with Google data to provide faster, more accurate results, and includes alternate routes based on traffic conditions. Of course, your NX will feature standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability.

Create your very own oasis with nature-inspired Thematic Ambient Illumination, an optional color feature that covers the NX in a choice of 14 color themes. Interior seats and consoles are available in Black, Black with Rich Cream, Palomino, and Rioja Red NuLuxe trim. These interiors will add color-keyed elements to the glove box and passenger console. The Circuit Red and Black/Rich Cream interior colors will add color-keyed elements to the front and rear door panels. If you’re looking for the ultimate in luxury, you’ll enjoy the Black Open Pore wood trim that includes Black Prism ornamentation, a Piano Black texture, and three-dimensional fractal that is gradually carved more densely toward the rear.

The NX 250 and 250 gas-powered duo features a lower center of gravity that creates an increased performance of 2.4L turbo on the NX 350. The eight-speed transmission supports the luxury crossover’s 275 horsepower and 317 lb. ft. of torque. Combined, the NX has a 0-60 time of 6.6 seconds with an EPA-estimated 24 MPG combined. The NX 250  produces 203 horsepower and 184 lb. ft. of torque, resulting in 0-60 times of 8.2 seconds (FWD) and 8.6 seconds (AWD), and has an EPA-estimated 28 combined miles per gallon rating.

The NX 350h brings power and fuel economy enhancements into 2024. The Lexus Hybrid Drive system is paired with the D4-S fuel injection 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder gasoline engine with two high-torque electric drive motor-generators for strong acceleration. Enjoy an upgraded 240 combined system horsepower with an EPA-estimated 39 MPG.

The NX 450h+ brings an EPA-estimated 37-mile range of electric power with its high-capacity lithium-ion battery. When combined with the hybrid system, you’ll enjoy an estimated 6.0 second 0-60 time. Designed to reduce power loss when converting from AC to DC power, the Lexus NX plug-in hybrid electric can be fully charged in roughly 2.5 hours when equipped with the optional 6.6 kW Expedited Onboard Charger. With the standard 3.3 kW on board charger, charge time goes up slightly to approximately four-and-a-half hours.

Safety, of course, is always a priority. Drivers will enjoy added peace of mind thanks to Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, standard on 2024 NX models. You’ll enjoy safety features such as:

  • Pre-Collision System (PCS) with Pedestrian Detection
  • Risk Avoidance Emergency Steer Assist
  • Left Turn Oncoming Vehicle Detection/Braking
  • All-speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC)
  • Lane Tracing Assist (LTA)
