The Next Chapter of Lexus

As the future grows into a more sustainable future, so does Lexus. Last month, Lexus showcased the brand’s evolution and look into the future during the Monterey Car Week. Attendees were able to learn about the Next Chapter pillars of bold design, Lexus Driving Signature, electrification, and intuitive technology. The highlight being the Lexus Electrified Sport, which made its first U.S. appearance on the Lexus display at the Pebble Beach Golf Links®.

A vision of the spiritual successor to the iconic LFA supercar, the Lexus Electrified Sport symbolizes the future of Lexus. Unleashing the full potential of electrification to push all of the limits on both the road and the track, the Lexus Electrified Sport envisions a potential 0—60 time in the low two-second range and a cruising distance that could exceed 430 miles, thanks to the possible use of solid-state batteries.

During the Monterey Car Week, attendees were also able to experience the details of the first-ever 2023 RX 500h F SPORT Performance, Lexus Racing, and Townsend’s years-long relationship with the brand, including the IS 500 he modified with Hiraku Co. for the 2021 SEMA Show. And, for the third year in a row, Lexus gave back to the local community by supporting the annual Pebble Beach Concours d ‘Elegance® Charity through a drawing to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Monterey County on Sunday, August 21st.
