What’s New in the 2024 Lexus LS

The commanding Lexus LS, standing as the brand’s flagship sedan, continues to captivate with its striking profile, refined performance, and exceptional craftsmanship in the 2024 model year. While maintaining its dominance on the road, the LS undergoes subtle enhancements for the upcoming year.

Noteworthy additions to the 2024 Lexus LS line include a standard wireless cell phone charger in the cockpit and the introduction of a new exterior paint option: Silver Illusion. The LS offers five exclusive wheel designs and colors, depending on the grade. The 2024 LS gas models come with standard features such as Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 (LSS+ 3.0), Digital Key capability, Head-up Display, and a 12.3-inch MID.

Impressive Power – Lexus LS 500

The LS 500, equipped with a 3.4-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, boasts a commanding output of 416 horsepower and 442 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine features a piston top with a lip shape, contributing to low emissions and quiet operation during cold starts. The twin-turbo engine’s wastegate control ensures stable valve opening and closing for enhanced performance efficiency. Paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, the LS 500 achieves a 0-60 time of 4.6 seconds. Driving dynamics can be personalized through Eco, Comfort, Normal, Custom, Sport S, or Sport S+ modes. The available AWD system features a Torsen® limited-slip center differential, enhancing grip, traction, and cornering stability.

LS 500h AWD

The LS 500h, a high-performance hybrid, continues into 2024 with a twin-turbo V6 producing 416 horsepower. This model showcases 20-inch alloy noise-reduction wheels with a Vapor Chrome finish. Grounded in the Mobility Teammate Concept, the Lexus Teammate™ on the LS 500h AWD offers Advanced Drive and Advanced Park functions, promoting safe, convenient, and efficient mobility.

Looking the Part

The LS exhibits a stylish front fascia and squared lower radiator air intakes, presenting a robust and powerful stance. The dark metallic spindle grille adds an elegant touch, while the 3-projector LED headlamps with a vertically stacked layout contribute to the vehicle’s confident nature. The 2024 LS offers ten exterior color options, including Silver Illusion, added for the upcoming year.

Next-Level Interior

For 2024, Lexus LS customers will continue to experience the brand’s commitment to detail. Luxury and Executive Packages introduce Haku interior ornamentation, showcasing a Japanese technique passed down for over 400 years. Haku foil, painstakingly crafted to extreme thinness, imparts a delicate shine, reminiscent of moonlight on ocean waves. Additionally, Luxury and Executive Packages now include a wood and leather-trimmed heated steering wheel.

On Executive models, Kiriko Glass ornamentation and hand-folded pleats on the door trim exemplify the brand’s handcrafted approach. Kiriko Glass draws inspiration from Japanese glassware, featuring hand-cut clear colors and delicate lines polished to a soft glow.

Rear-seat comfort receives special attention with heating and massage options, and the Executive Package introduces a reclining passenger-side seat, providing a precise level of comfort at an angle of up to 48 degrees when the vehicle is parked.
