The Lexus GX Rides High into 2025
The new year Lexus GX is arriving in style – and with a new suspension lift. The 2025 Lexus GX builds on its 2024 redesign, adding new standard features like a one-inch suspension lift on Overtrail and Overtrail+ grades, Lexus Memory System and power tilt-and-telescopic steering column standard on all grades, and more. With a bold, rugged exterior and a luxurious, tech-forward interior, the GX continues to inspire adventurous journeys both on and off the road.
Built on the GA-F platform shared with the Lexus LX, the GX combines a strong ladder frame with advanced suspension systems for off-road prowess and refined on-road handling. Powering all grades is a twin-turbocharged 3.4L V6 engine producing 349 horsepower and 479 lb.-ft. of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Towing capacity reaches up to 9,096 lbs., while standard full-time 4WD ensures confidence across diverse terrains.
The Overtrail and Overtrail+ grades feature exclusive off-road enhancements like an electronically controlled locking rear differential, Electronic Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (E-KDSS), and Multi-Terrain Select modes for optimized handling.
With its square-body profile, wide fender flares, and bold spindle body grille, the GX’s design reflects its off-road functionality. Exterior color options include bi-tone combinations exclusive to the Overtrail grades.
Inside, the GX offers a spacious, modern cabin with seating for up to seven, standard wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, and a 14-inch multimedia touchscreen. Overtrail models feature exclusive Olive Ultrasuede® accents, while all trims prioritize ergonomic comfort and thoughtful storage solutions.
Whether navigating city streets or tackling rugged trails, the 2025 Lexus GX delivers a seamless blend of durability, luxury, and capability. With six trim levels and a host of standard and available features, the GX remains a leader in the luxury SUV market.
