The 2024 Lexus LX 600
Since its inception in 1995, the Lexus LX has stood as a beacon of luxury SUV excellence, characterized by an unparalleled blend of comfort and off-road prowess. This indomitable duality has solidified its status as a luxurious long-range cruiser while conquering diverse terrains in over 50 countries and regions globally. The 2024 LX 600 proudly continues this legacy, incorporating updates and improvements from its 2024 predecessor.
Under the hood, the LX boasts a high-output, high-torque 3.4-liter V6 twin-turbo gasoline engine, ensuring refined control both on and off the road. The Electronically Controlled Brake (ECB) system and Electric Power Steering (EPS) further enhance its on-road and off-road capabilities.
Stepping inside the LX reveals a cabin meticulously crafted for optimum comfort and usability. The instrument panel features the Lexus Interface with a dual display configuration, comprising a 12.3-inch upper screen and a 7-inch lower screen. These displays offer a variety of views, instrumentation, and control adjustments, contributing to a comfortable driving experience.
The LX is available in five interior color options: Palomino, White/Peppercorn, Circuit Red, Black, and Sunflare. Exterior choices encompass seven options: Eminent White Pearl*, Atomic Silver, Manganese Luster*, Nori Green Pearl, Caviar, Ultra White (F SPORT Handling), and Black Onyx (F SPORT Handling).
Key technical features include the GA-F platform, introduced in 2022, providing increased body rigidity for superior comfort and composure. The front high-mounted double wishbone suspension, optimized coil springs, and suspension geometry contribute to exceptional vehicle stability and ride comfort, both on and off the road.
Powering the LX is a 3.4-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, producing 409 hp and 479 lb.-ft. of torque, offering a seamless driving experience across a wide range of speeds. The Direct Shift-10AT ensures smooth starts and precise acceleration, complementing the engine’s performance.
The Active Height Control (AHC) suspension and Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) further enhance the LX’s driving signature, providing improved grip, traction, and control. The AHC system adjusts ride height based on driving conditions, offering three settings for vehicle height while in motion (Normal, Hi1, and Hi2) and a Low setting for passenger ingress and egress.
The LX’s Electric Power Steering (EPS) and Electronically Controlled Brake (ECB) systems contribute to the Lexus Driving Signature, delivering seamless integration of deceleration, steering, and acceleration. The use of the Active Height Control (AHC) system and Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) ensures improved grip, traction, and control.
