October 17th, 2022 by

The 2022 NX saw a fully reimagined exterior and upgraded performance – all of which are continued into the 2023 model. In addition, you’ll find the signs of Lexus Driving Signature, that ensures a uniquely Lexus experience that includes a direct, linear driving feel. Drivers and passengers can enjoy features such as wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto, Voice Assistant, cloud-navigation capable with Google Points of Interest (POI), over-the-air (OTA) updates and available Digital Key.

Enjoy an eye-catching 9.8-inch, optically bonded touchscreen that supplies intuitive technology. The Human Machine Interface enhances user interaction through sight, touch and voice, while keeping any accessibility needs in mind. The optional 14-inch touchscreen will come with a three year trial for Drive Connect services that include options like location guidance, Destination Assist, and Intelligent Assistant. You won’t have to worry about other drivers or passengers rearranging your setup with user profiles that will not only exist in your Lexus, but on the cloud for you to access in any Lexus.

Digital Key, which is an extension to the User Profile, is available for you to unlock/lock and start/stop your vehicle through a smartphone when within bluetooth proximity. Remote Connect services allow the Digital Key to be shared with up to seven guests, creating a convenient experience for all those registered on the Lexus app. The Lexus Interface Cloud Navigation system was designed with ease of use and function in mind and features 100% cloud capability and integrated Google POI data. You’ll experience faster, more direct directions and mapping.

While multimedia updates take the stage in the 2023 NX, performance is the key to any Lexus. A lower center of gravity and vehicle dynamic enhancements create an increased performance of the 2.4L turbo on the NX 350. The eight-speed transmission supports 275 horsepower and 317 lb.ft of torque. Combined, the NX is propelled a 0-60 time of 6.6 seconds, over a half-second quicker than the earlier model, with an EPA-estimated 25 MPG combined.

The first-ever Lexus NX 250, released for 2023, features a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with start/stop functionality mated with an eight-speed transmission. Available on both FWD and AWD options, the NX 250 has an EPA-estimated 29 combined MPG, 203 horsepower and 184 lb.ft of torque, resulting in 0-60 times of 8.2 seconds (FWD) and 8.6 seconds (AWD), while having an EPA-estimated 28 combined miles per gallon.
