Taking Luxury to the Mountains in the 2025 Lexus LX 700h

2024.09.20
Since its debut in 1995, the Lexus LX has been a symbol of capability and luxury worldwide, offering a perfect blend of off-road performance, refined comfort, and top-tier amenities. For 2025, Lexus takes its flagship SUV to new heights with updates to the LX 600 and the introduction of the all-new LX 700h hybrid model, alongside a rugged Overtrail grade.
The LX 700h marks Lexus’ 12th electrified model, expanding the brand’s hybrid offerings to meet the diverse needs of its customers. Whether navigating city streets or tackling challenging off-road terrain, the 2025 LX is designed to deliver powerful performance, sophisticated design, and intuitive technology that elevates every journey.
The 2025 LX will be available in five trims: Premium, F SPORT Handling, Luxury, Ultra Luxury, and the new Overtrail. Notably, the LX is the only model in the Lexus lineup that offers both F SPORT and Overtrail options. Both the LX 600 and LX 700h are set to hit dealerships in early 2025, with pricing details to be released closer to launch.
Lexus Overtrail Project
Introduced at the 2023 Tokyo Outdoor Show, the “Overtrail Project” aims to encourage Lexus customers to embrace outdoor exploration through refined adventures. This initiative not only highlights Lexus’ commitment to crafting rugged, off-road-capable vehicles but also hints at future opportunities for exclusive products, accessories, and experiences. The new Overtrail grade for the LX 700h reflects this adventurous spirit.
Overtrail: Unleashing Off-Road Potential
Building on the LX’s already impressive off-road pedigree, the Overtrail grade enhances its capability with specialized features designed for rugged exploration. It offers a bold and durable look, with exterior color options like Earth, and an interior featuring Black or Stone Brown semi-aniline leather, accented by Stone Brown stitching and Black Open Pore wood on the center console and door panels.
The Overtrail package includes advanced off-road components like front and rear locking differentials, a 2,400W AC inverter, and all-weather floor liners. It rides on 33-inch all-terrain tires mounted on 18-inch wheels and is protected by a front skid plate. Additional aesthetic enhancements include a matte gray grille, black door handles, dark gray roof rails, and dark chrome window and bumper trims.
Available in two- and three-row configurations, the LX 700h Overtrail is engineered for those who seek both luxury and adventure, allowing drivers to explore the outdoors without sacrificing refinement.
With the addition of the LX 700h and the Overtrail grade, the 2025 LX lineup continues to push the boundaries of what a luxury SUV can offer. Click here to follow us on Facebook to be the first to learn more about the Lexus LX as we get closer to launch.Â
