The results of the J.D. Power 2023 Vehicle Dependability Study are in! With no surprise to us here at Lexus of Northborough, Lexus ranks #1 in vehicle dependability among all brands with an overall score of 133 (PP100) vs the industry average 186 in the J.D. Power 2023 U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study. The 2023 U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study is based on responses from 30,062 original owners of 2020 model-year vehicles after three years of ownership.

In addition, Toyota Motor Corporation received the most model-level awards of all automakers with the following vehicles: Lexus NX, Lexus RX, Toyota C-HR, Toyota Highlander, Toyota Sienna, and Toyota Tacoma.

The Lexus NX sees a refresh for the 2023 models, including upgrades in technology, safety features, and additional trim-lines for ultimate performance. While multimedia updates take the stage in the 2023 NX, performance is the key to any Lexus. A lower center of gravity and vehicle dynamic enhancements create an increased performance of the 2.4L turbo on the NX 350. The eight-speed transmission supports 275 horsepower and 317 lb.ft of torque. Combined, the NX is propelled a 0-60 time of 6.6 seconds, over a half-second quicker than the earlier model, with an EPA-estimated 25 MPG combined.

The first-ever Lexus NX 250, released for 2023, features a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with start/stop functionality mated with an eight-speed transmission. Available on both FWD and AWD options, the NX 250 has an EPA-estimated 29 combined MPG, 203 horsepower and 184 lb.ft of torque, resulting in 0-60 times of 8.2 seconds (FWD) and 8.6 seconds (AWD), while having an EPA-estimated 28 combined miles per gallon.

The Lexus RX sees a fully redesigned interior and exterior to the flagship SUV. Adding to the extraordinary legacy, the 2023 RX’s innovative computational analysis, enhanced materials, and repeatable high-stress testing performed at the Toyota Technical Center Shimoyama have created the best version of RX to date. The 2023 powertrain lineup includes electric variants, as well as the Lexus-first DIRECT4 all-wheel drive system, and the first-ever plug-in hybrid electric RX. You will have six grades to choose from: Standard, Premium, RX-first Premium+, Luxury, F SPORT Handling and RX-first, F SPORT Performance. We’ve made an RX for everyone.
