Lexus Introduces The Standard of Amazing: Electricity at Its Finest

Lexus enters the next chapter of The Standard of Amazing with the launch of its new U.S. campaign, Electricity at Its Finest, shining a spotlight on the brand’s latest expression of electrified luxury. More than a marketing moment, this campaign reinforces what has always set Lexus apart: the belief that true luxury should move you — emotionally as well as physically.
For years, electric vehicles have been positioned primarily as technological breakthroughs. While innovative, many have left drivers wanting more than experiences that felt cold, minimalist, or disconnected. Lexus saw an opportunity to redefine what electrification could mean, blending art and engineering to create vehicles that connect deeply with the driver.
At the heart of this campaign is the Lexus RZ, the brand’s fully electric SUV, alongside Lexus’ broader electrified lineup, including hybrid and plug-in hybrid models like the NX and RX. Together, they represent a vision of electrification that is refined, intuitive, and unmistakably Lexus. Breaking away from traditional fast-paced automotive advertising, Electricity at Its Finest takes a deliberately cinematic approach. The campaign slows everything down, creating an emotional oasis where beauty, stillness, and innovation coexist. It allows the RZ to exist in a space that celebrates its electric nature while remaining true to Lexus’ core identity.
Developed in collaboration with longtime agency partners Team One and IW Group, the campaign launched in January 2026 with a series of films built around a simple mantra: operate elegantly, beautifully, and simply.
One standout film, “Miles and Miles,” captures the campaign’s essence through a quiet, intimate moment — a man savoring two electrified objects: a plugged-in Lexus RZ and a modern turntable playing Miles Davis’ “Blue in Green.” The result is a powerful reminder that electricity can create experiences that are not only functional, but deeply moving.
Additional films, “Magic” and “Worthy,” continue the narrative, while “Session,” created by IW Group, celebrates the fusion of technology and creativity through music. Featuring internationally recognized musicians Brianna Tam and Shobhit Banwait, the film draws a parallel between electrified instruments and the emotional charge of driving an electrified Lexus.
