In celebration of Universal Pictures’ upcoming release of Wicked, Lexus has revealed two stunning, character-themed vehicles inspired by the film’s iconic witches, Elphaba and Glinda. These custom Lexus TX models—the bold Elphaba TX and the elegant Glinda TX—capture the essence of their namesakes while delivering Lexus’ signature blend of luxury, advanced technology, and spacious design, including third-row seating and ample cargo space.

“We wanted to bring the magic of Wicked to life through these custom vehicles,” said Lisa McQueen, Lexus Marketing Manager. “Just as Glinda and Elphaba have distinct personalities, so do these Lexus TX models, giving fans a chance to ‘Experience OZmazing’ in a unique way both on and off the road.”

Art Deco Design Meets the Magic of Oz: Glinda and Elphaba TX Models

Drawing inspiration from the Art Deco architecture of the Emerald City, both the Glinda and Elphaba TX feature intricate designs that reflect the whimsical, enchanting spirit of Wicked.

The Glinda TX shines in electric pink with gleaming gold accents and striking wheels, mirroring Glinda’s charm and elegance. A custom “POPULR” vanity plate gives a playful nod to her signature song, while pink underglow lighting adds a touch of magic to the vehicle—an ode to the bubble-traveling witch’s luxurious style.

On the other hand, the Elphaba TX dazzles in deep emerald green with bold gold accents and glowing green underlighting, capturing the witch’s powerful and mysterious aura. Its sharp, geometric wheels and a clever “DFY GRVTY” vanity plate reference Elphaba’s iconic anthem, embodying her rebellious spirit and strength.

Beyond their striking exteriors, both TX models offer premium interiors designed to accommodate any adventure. The Lexus TX’s spacious three-row seating provides ample room for Glinda’s entourage or Elphaba’s late-night escapades. Tech-savvy drivers and passengers will appreciate the Lexus Interface with a 14-inch multimedia touchscreen, offering seamless controls and clear information. Both vehicles will be showcased at the Wicked film premiere on November 9, 2024, ahead of the theatrical release on November 22. Directed by Jon M. Chu, Wicked marks the first of a two-part cinematic event that brings the beloved Broadway sensation to life on the big screen.
