Lexus Unveils Next-Generation Lexus Interface, Redefining In-Cabin Luxury and Connectivity

Lexus is entering a new era of in-vehicle technology with the debut of its enhanced Lexus Interface multimedia system, first arriving in the 2026 Lexus ES before expanding across future models in the lineup. Designed to elevate every aspect of the driving experience, the latest Lexus Interface blends intuitive design, advanced connectivity, and personalized features to create a more seamless and engaging cabin environment.

One of the biggest advancements is the introduction of AT&T 5G connectivity, delivering faster speeds, improved responsiveness, and expanded in-vehicle capabilities across North America. A standard 14-inch touchscreen features sharper graphics, improved processing speed, and a fully configurable home screen that allows drivers to organize navigation, audio, climate, drive modes, and connected services into personalized widgets. A new Quick Control Menu also provides instant access to frequently used settings such as Bluetooth pairing, display brightness, and driver assistance features.

Luxury meets atmosphere with more than 64 ambient lighting options available in the Lexus ES, allowing drivers to tailor the cabin mood with ease. Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility continue to ensure effortless smartphone integration.

Voice control has also been significantly upgraded. The enhanced “Hey Lexus” Voice Assistant now responds faster and more naturally, allowing drivers to adjust climate settings, control audio, check navigation details, and even ask simple questions like trip range or directions. For the first time, Lexus also offers both male and female voice options for added personalization.

Navigation has been reimagined with full-screen mapping now displayed directly in the instrument cluster for improved visibility and a more immersive driving experience. When paired with a Drive Connect subscription, drivers gain access to real-time traffic updates, cloud-based navigation, and live agent assistance for destination support.

For added peace of mind, Lexus introduces Drive Recorder, a built-in system that functions like a dashcam using the vehicle’s exterior cameras. It continuously records and saves footage, automatically captures incident-based clips, and allows drivers to review or download recordings directly from the vehicle.

Electrified driving is also made easier with new EV Charge Management tools, including charging schedules, range mapping, and EV routing that highlights charging stations along the journey. These tools are designed to simplify electric ownership in models such as the 2026 Lexus ES 350e and 500e.

Remote connectivity has also been enhanced through the Lexus app, offering faster response times and expanded control over vehicle functions such as remote start, climate settings, trunk access, and lighting. The upgraded Digital Key feature now allows compatible smartphones to lock, unlock, and start the vehicle, with the ability to securely share access with additional drivers.

With its blend of intelligent technology, personalization, and seamless connectivity, the next-generation Lexus Interface represents a major step forward in how drivers interact with their vehicles.
