Celebrating 25 Years of the Iconic December to Remember Campaign

This year, Lexus proudly celebrates the 25th anniversary of its iconic “December to Remember” campaign with the debut of two enchanting new commercials, “Forecast” and “Letter.” These latest additions capture the nostalgia and joy of the holiday season, highlighting the brand’s commitment to creating memorable experiences for its customers.

Since its launch in 1999, “December to Remember” has become synonymous with the holidays, featuring its signature jingle, big red bows, and heartfelt moments of giving. The campaign continues to resonate with audiences, solidifying Lexus as a leader in holiday automotive sales and setting a benchmark for emotionally driven advertising in the industry.

2024 Campaign Highlights

The 2024 campaign introduces two new commercials that spotlight the cherished moments of togetherness during the holiday season:

“Letter”: A family bands together to ensure a little girl’s holiday wish is fulfilled. Using the connectivity features of their Lexus NX, RX, and GX vehicles, they navigate through town in a heartfelt relay to deliver her letter to the North Pole. When a magical twist disrupts their plans, the family’s ultimate gesture leaves the girl speechless on Christmas morning.

“Forecast”: A meteorologist prepares for a snowy night alone at work, only to be surprised when his family arrives to bring the festivities to him. Their journey through the snow, aided by their Lexus GX, TX, and LX models, embodies the spirit of connection and love.

Lexus has also brought back “Stranded,” a fan-favorite commercial where a woman uses her Lexus GX to rescue a group of stranded dogs and reunite them with their owner.

Beyond television, Lexus is extending the campaign across cable sports programming like Sunday Night Football, College Football, and NBA games, as well as digital platforms such as Hulu, ESPN, and Bleacher Report.

Later this season, Lexus will collaborate with creators like Marian Sarkisian (@cakesbymarian) and Marco Hernandez (@theartofcarvingice) to design festive edible creations and life-size ice sculptures, sharing the magic of “December to Remember” on Lexus USA’s TikTok account (@LexusUSA).

The Lexus December Sales Event offers incentives through Jan. 2, 2025.
